Test methods

The objective of this test is to verify that no tears to the insulation occur due to external forces while in use.

The test is carried out on a sample of the insulation, which is divided into two longitudinal halves and subjected to pulling forces to determine the force necessary to completely tear the sample. The test is considered to be satisfactory if the force applied until the insulation breaks is higher than the requirements established in the standard for the specific product
