Commercial refrigeration is essential for preserving food in shops such as hypermarkets and supermarkets, catering establishments, food shops, kitchens, etc. All these shops have refrigeration systems such as serve-over counters, , wall site cabinets, display cabinets and chambers for refrigeration and freezing of foodstuffs.

The main aim is to ensure maximum performance and long life for food products. Therefore, precise control of temperature, humidity, air movement and air cleanliness in the refrigerated space must be maintained. In addition, low energy consumption must be ensured.

Refrigerated display cabinets are used for the proper preservation of foodstuffs that must be kept refrigerated or frozen in retail outlets.

This equipment is regulated by means of Regulation (EU) 2019/2018 on Energy Labelling and Regulation (EU) 2019/2024 on Ecodesign.
