Energy consumption test

This test is conducted simultaneously with the temperature test.

It consists of determining the electricity consumption of the cabinet that allows it to operate within the required temperature class. If the cabinet has a built-in condenser, the electrical energy consumption is measured by means of direct measurement, whereas if the cabinet has a remote condenser the electrical energy for refrigerating must also be taken into account.

Our installation allows the testing of cabinets with built-in condenser and remote condenser.

Energy consumption is one of the input data to calculate the Energy Efficiency Index in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2018 on Energy Labelling and Regulation (EU) 2019/2024 on Ecodesign.
