Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Org confirms CEIS as accredited laboratory for HVAC sector
The Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, the certification body of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (SASO), has once again recognised CEIS as an accredited testing laboratory for testing air conditioning and heat pump equipment, extending this to VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) equipment.
The SASO recognises CEIS expertise for HVAC equipment according to the standards included in the SASO 2874 regulation, which comprise the following test methods:
- ISO 5151 (SASO 2681) “Non-ducted air conditioners and heat pumps — Testing and rating for performance”.
- ISO 13253 (SASO 2682) “Ducted air-conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps — Testing and rating for performance”.
- ISO 15042 “Multiple split-system air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps — Testing and rating for performance”.
This recognition, valid for the next 3 years, together with our extensive experience and international prestige, will strength our penetration into the Middle East market.
CEIS is an ENAC accredited laboratory for the testing of heat pumps and air conditioning equipment, and is recognised by the most important certification bodies for obtaining plenty of quality labels/marks.
