The objective of this test is to assess the resistance to surface cracking in the enclosure material caused by the ozone effect due to the circulating current through the overhead power line or fixing covering it.

Test methods

This test is based on the methodology defined in the standard UNE-EN 60811-403 which establishes the test samples to be subjected to a given duration cycle in a suspended ozone atmosphere chamber.
