Leaktightness of elastomeric sealing ring type joints.

Test methods

A sample (pipe and/or accessories) are subjected to an initial negative pressure, followed by low hydrostatic pressure, and then higher internal pressure. Diameter and/or angular deviations are then applied to the joint. Each pressure is maintained for a set period of time during which the leaktightness of the joint is inspected.
