CEIS testing laboratory obtains DEWA approval for low and medium voltage cables
CEIS testing laboratory has recently been approved by DEWA – Dubai Electricity & Water Authority to perform type testing of LV and MV power cables according to IEC 60502-1 and IEC 60502-2.
Now that CEIS testing laboratory is approved by DEWA, cable manufacturers who successfully pass CEIS type testing of LV and MV cables, and DEWA’s requirements, will now comply with DEWA’s assessment specifications. Those already holding CEIS approvals are at a strong advantage, as this recognition, opens the doors to new business opportunities in the UAE.
This authorization reinforces the support that CEIS, as a testing laboratory, gives to manufacturers of cables for the internationalization of products in worldwide markets. Additionally, this recognition confirms that CEIS is a leading and trustful provider of recognised quality and safety assessments worldwide
José Luis Sánchez, CEO of CEIS says “Getting this approval is a milestone for CEIS as global supplier to the cables manufacturing industry as more and more entities around the world recognise our work. Choosing CEIS as a trustful partner for the evaluation of cables provides the manufacturers competitive and cost effective solutions to compete in global markets. We will keep pushing to enlarge our recognitions, which are the fruits of our values and daily efforts.”
