CEIS testing laboratory obtains DEWA approval for low and medium voltage cables
CEIS testing laboratory has recently been approved by DEWA – Dubai Electricity & Water Authority to perform type testing of LV and MV power cables according to IEC 60502-1 and IEC 60502-2.
Now that CEIS testing laboratory is approved by DEWA, cable manufacturers who successfully pass CEIS type testing of LV and MV power cables, and DEWA’s requirements, will now comply with DEWA’s assessment specifications.
Those already holding CEIS approvals are at a strong advantage, as this recognition, opens the doors to new business opportunities in the UAE.
This authorization reinforces the support that CEIS, as a testing laboratory, gives to manufacturers of cables for the internationalization of products in worldwide markets.
