CEIS extends its ENAC accreditation
CEIS has renewed its ENAC accreditation according to the international standard ISO 17025 for testing laboratories which ensures technical expertise and reliable results. The accreditation supposes a formal and public acknowledgements of the staff qualifications, the facility’s equipment, the procedures and methods of work and the traceability of measurements and calibrations.
Specifically, in 2017, CEIS extends its accreditation for the dissolved gas test according to UNE EN 60567:2011 with the method headspace gas chromatography .
This testing method joins the extraction using Toepler pump apparatus in the Dissolved gas test (DGA) covered by ENAC accreditation. The aim of this scope expansion is to respond to the sector needs in advance. The Increasing demand for this test types, which are fundamental for electrical machines diagnosis and maintenance, requires a quick response and short delivery times, like for example for urgent samples.
Currently, CEIS counts with the highest number of accredited tests within scope of insulation liquids and dielectric oils in Spain.
