Dielectric rigidity test
The objective of the test is to determine the maximum voltage the insulating material used to manufacture the enclosure can withstand without perforating.
Test methods
It is based on the methodology defined in the standard UNE-EN 60243-1, which consists of applying voltage steps for a set time to the enclosure material through an electrode submerged in a liquid medium.
