ceis has been notified by the Ministry of Industry for carrying out tests on products covered by the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC and Low Voltage Products Directive 93/68/EEC (ex 73/23), such as:

• Solid fuel burning heating equipment, boilers, compacts and cookers.
• Low voltage electrical equipment.
• Thermal Insulation materials.

ceis works actively in partnership with the manufacturers of these products, offering them technical assistance throughout the process of obtaining the corresponding CE conformity marking.

ceis works with manufacturers on:

• Carrying out initial type testing.
• Carrying out specific studies for equipment.
• Developing the documentation required for compliance with regulations.
• Technical assistance to determine the applicable regulation and the necessary tests.

For this service, ceis has a team of highly qualified professionals with sufficient technical competence and experience.

The laboratories which are involved in these projects are ENAC accredited.
