The laboratory specialises in testing solid fuel equipment.

It assesses the following characteristics:

• Rated thermal input and efficiency.
• Safety at temperature.
• Pressure on water circuit.
• Thermal discharge.

We carry out testing on the following equipment:

• Solid fuel burning equipment such as heating stoves, domestic boilers, compacts, cookers and open fireplaces.
• Equipment with water circuits.
• Automated pellet feeding equipment.

The aim of the laboratory is to respond to the requirements of manufacturers to test their products for CE marking.

THE SOLID FUEL HEATING APPLIANCES LABORATORY PROVIDES ITS CUSTOMERS WITH:

• Reliable results: our customers obtain results whose reliability is accredited by ENAC (file 1/LE1257).
• Reference laboratory: the laboratory is the national reference.
• Notified laboratory: the laboratory is notified by the Ministry of Industry for obtaining CE marking under the construction Directive 89/106/EEC.
• Synergies: working with this laboratory, our customers can complement their specific tests with tests from other areas of expertise such as electrical testing and fuel analysis.

RECOGNISED BY: 

• The laboratory is ENAC accredited (1/LE1257) to carry out testing on stoves, compacts, cookers and boilers powered by solid fuel.
• The laboratory is notified by the Ministry of Industry to carry out accredited testing for obtaining CE marking as per construction Directive 89/106/EEC.
• The manufacturers forming part of the Spanish Association of Stove, Chimney and Cooker Manufacturers (AEFECC) have recognised the laboratory as reference laboratory for its members.
