Tests on plastic pipes for civil works and building
At ceis we carry out tests on plastic pipes for civil works and building, verifying that they meet the requirements established in national and international standards (UNE; EN; ISO) and checking this way their functionality and safety.
ceis assesses and tests the characteristics and performance of a wide range of plastic products, among which we find the following:
- PVC pipe for civil works and their JOINTS, whether they are adhesively bonded or elastically sealed.
- Polyethylene (PE) pipe for civil works and their JOINTS, whether butt-welded or electro-welded.
- Piping systems for hot and cold water installations made of pipes of different materials (POLYPROPYLENE (PP), CROSSLINKED POLYETHYLENE (PEX), POLYETHYLENE OF RAISED TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE (PERT), MULTILAYER WITH INTERMEDIATE ALUMIMIUM LAYER, POLYBUTYLENE (PB), etc.) and thermo-welded or electro-welded fittings for mechanical joint, as appropriate.
- Systems multilayer pipes in domestic gas reception.
In addition, we have wide knowledge and extensive experience on the different types of plastic pipes and their manufacturing methods, enabling us to provide guidance regarding the necessary tests to assess plastic pipes, according to its different uses and applications.
Other certification entities that recognise our tests are: SABS, Certif, SGS and Certificación Mexicana.
ceis is accredited by ENAC in conformity with standard UNE/EN/ISO 17025 to carry out tests on plastic pipes (Technical Annex of Scope).
