The Test, Innovation and Services Centre, hereinafter ceis, informs website users of its policy regarding the processing and protection of the personal data of users and clients that may be collected as a result of their browsing or contracting services via its website.
In this respect, ceis guarantees compliance with the regulations in force with regard to the protection of personal data, reflected in the Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on Personal Data Protection (LOPD) and in Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, which approves the Implementation Regulations of the LOPD.
2. Collection, purpose and processing of data.
ceis is required to inform the users of its website regarding the collection of personal data that may take place, either via the sending of e-mail or upon completion of the forms included in the website. In this respect, ceis shall be considered the controller of the data collected via the aforementioned media.
In turn, ceis informs users that the purpose of the processing of the data collected contemplates: Attending to requests made by the users, inclusion in the contacts directory, provision of services and management of the commercial relationship.
The operations, transactions and technical procedures performed, whether automated or not, and which enable the collection, storage, modification, transfer and other actions on personal data, shall receive the consideration of processing of personal data.
All the personal data collected via the website of ceis, and therefore given the consideration of processing of personal data, will be incorporated in the filing systems declared by ceis to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
3. Disclosure of information to third parties.
ceis informs users that their personal data will not be disclosed to third-party organisations, unless said disclosure of data is subject to a legal obligation or when the provision of a service implies the need for a contractual relationship with a data processor. In the latter case, the data will only be disclosed to the third party when ceis has the express consent of the user.
4. User rights.
The Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on Personal Data Protection grants data subjects the possibility of exercising a series of rights relating to the processing of their personal data.
Insofar as the user’s data are subject to processing by ceis, the user may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection pursuant to that contemplated in the legal regulations in force with regard to the protection of personal data.
To make use of the exercise of these rights, the user must apply via a written communication, providing documentation that proves his/her identity (National Identity Document or passport), to the following address: ceis, Ctra. Villaviciosa de Odón a Móstoles, km: 1,5, 28935 Móstoles, Madrid. Said communication must include the following information: Name and surname(s) of the user, the right requested, the address and supporting details. The exercise of rights must be performed by the user in person. However, they may be exercised by a person authorised as legal representative of the data subject. In this case, it will be necessary to provide documentation evidencing such representation of the data subject.
