The Chilean organization CESMEC and CEIS have signed an agreement for which the CESMEC recognizes cables tests under its certification process realized by CEIS.
CEIS tests are valid for obtaining approval certificate issued by CESMEC as certification body authorised by SEC (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles), mandatory for trading of the products in the Chile country.
The signed agreement highlights support from CEIS, as testing laboratory, provides to national manufacturers for internationalization of the products in markets as the chilean
SEC (Superintendencia de Electridad y Combustibles) is the Chilean authority that regulates the electrical products that require a mandatory safety and/or energy efficiency certification in Chile, prior to sale on the local market.
