28-10-2013 | Electrical tests | news

Repsol and ceis have signed a multiannual agreement for the provision of dielectric oil analysis services on transformers for all their industrial sites in the Iberian Peninsula, refineries in La Coruña, Petronor, Tarragona, Puertollano and Cartagena, as well as the chemical plants in the industrial sites in Puertollano, Tarragona and Sines.

The aim of this contract is to obtain reliable data through dielectric oil analyses in order to correctly carry out predictive maintenance activities and ensure the continuity of the electricity supply

To this end, the samples taken from transformers will be subject to the so-called Physical chemical analysis pack, which includes the following analyses: Visual appearance and colour, Breakdown voltage (Rigidity), Water content, Acidity (Neutralisation number), Dielectric dissipation factor (Tan delta), Viscosity at 40ºC.

Ceis is the leading company for dielectric oil analyses of power transformers in the Spanish market. It has been providing these services since 1970 and has been increasing the number of analyses and of tests accredited by ENAC ever since. It currently takes part in research projects in collaboration with leading companies worldwide.
